Location: Amarillo, TX

Employment Type: Full-Time

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send invoices to customers
  • Maintain and update driver files
  • Maintain and update equipment files
  • Save and process Bills of Lading and Proof of Delivery documents
  • Obtain permits as required
  • Create customs documentation for loads crossing the border;
  • Communicate any driver related issues to load planner;
  • Order entry and updating our planning database in a timely manner;
  • Maintain compliance with all Municipal, Provincial, Federal and International laws and regulations;
  • Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures;
  • Administrative and other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years experience in administration and/or logistics (agriculture background preferred);
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills;
  • Knowledge of hours of service and Electronic Logging Devices an asset
  • Post-secondary education in logistics preferred (equivalent experience considered);
  • Knowledge of customs and border clearance processes an asset;
  • Strong focus on accuracy and detail along with exceptional time management skills;
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office – Word, Excel & Outlook;

  • Develop and maintain relationships with shippers across industries.

  • Identify new business opportunities and generate leads.

  • Provide freight quotes and negotiate pricing with customers.

  • Collaborate with carrier relations to ensure freight capacity.

  • Meet and exceed sales goals and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in logistics or transportation.

  • Strong negotiation and customer relationship skills.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to meet targets independently.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Familiarity with CRM or sales tracking software is a plus.

  • Ensure carriers are properly onboarded and meet compliance requirements.

  • Provide daily support to drivers regarding load details, payments, and troubleshooting.

  • Negotiate carrier rates while ensuring profitability.

  • Act as the point of contact for resolving carrier-related issues.

Requirements:

  • Experience in logistics, trucking, or customer service preferred.

  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and carrier compliance is a plus.

  • Problem-solving mindset with excellent attention to detail.
