MTS started offering "document imaging" for our customers in November 2005, to expedite their proof of delivery and bill of lading. This service allows our customers a more timely flow of their paperwork for faster invoicing to their customers. This is a service given to our customers at no charge to better serve them. Our billing department collects all paperwork from our carriers, quickly audits the paperwork for discrepancies, then scans it into our computer system. On the same day our customer will receive an invoice from MTS by email or fax. With our document imaging system, we are creating a faster cash flow for our customers by providing a document image of the original bol and pod, doing away with snail mail and again being a leader in the 3PL industry by increasing our customers ability to invoice by four to five days.
